• Bangladesh Vs West Indies First ODI Today

DOMINICA: Expectation will be high when Bangladesh start their three-match one-day international series against a makeshift West Indies side today after first-ever away Test series victory in the Caribbean.
The West Indies Cricket Board stuck to the replacement squad for the first two games despite the top players made themselves available and it has provided an opportunity for Bangladesh’s stand-in skipper Shakib Al Hasan to lead his side to a memorable double.
Bangladesh are yet to win a one-day game against the West Indies and the visitors have only one Twenty20 victory over the hosts which came during the 2007 World Cup in South Africa.
Bangladesh will definitely miss the services of leading paceman Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, who returned home with an injured knee having done very little in the Test series, as the Windsor Park pitch is likely to offer both pace and bounce.
The second match will be held at the same venue on July 28 and the third and final ODI is scheduled for July 31 at Warner Park in St. Kitts.
